Stanley Johnson, a prominent member of the North American Conservative Party, and Charlotte Fawcett Boris Johnson, were both born on June 19, 1964. Stanley Johnson, the father of Boris Johnson, has an intriguing family history, as he is descended from the royal line of King George II of Great Britain. Boris Johnson was born in New York, United States but quickly relocated to the UK, specifically the rural area of Nethercote. He faced challenges early on, undergoing multiple surgeries for hearing problems. Nevertheless, he persevered and completed his basic education, eventually embarking on an academic journey at the prestigious University of Oxford.

During his career, Boris Johnson worked at various media outlets, including The Times newspaper, where he faced a setback due to a plagiarism issue that led to his dismissal. However, he went on to work for the Daily Telegraph and The Spectator magazine, showcasing his expertise in journalism. Notably, he possesses fluency in several languages such as French, Italian, German, and Spanish. In Brussels, he gained international recognition among journalists with his article published in The Daily Telegraph titled “The Delors Plan to Rule Eastern Europe.”

In 2001, Boris Johnson entered the political arena as a Member of Parliament for Henley, representing the Conservative Party in the Oxfordshire district. Over the years, he climbed the ranks, becoming Vice President of the Conservative Party and later being appointed as the Shadow Minister of University Education. In 2007, he made headlines when he became the Conservative Party’s candidate for Mayor of London, capturing the support of the public and defeating the leftist politician, Ken Livingstone. He was reelected to the position in 2012, and his popularity soared as he successfully managed the Olympics hosted by his country.

One of Boris Johnson’s defining moments came when he played a crucial role in advocating for Brexit. After the majority of the British population voted to leave the European Union in the 2016 referendum, his stance on this issue elevated his status in politics. Although his bid to replace David Cameron as Prime Minister was unsuccessful, he pledged his support for Andrea Leadsom. Subsequently, Boris Johnson served as the Foreign Minister under Prime Minister Theresa May’s government. However, in 2018, he resigned due to the significant crisis within May’s government and the departure of the Brexit Secretary, David Davis. His disagreement with the prime minister’s approach to negotiating a softer Brexit led to his decision.

On May 16th, 2019, Boris Johnson announced his intent to participate in the Conservative leadership elections following Theresa May’s resignation. His competitor, Jeremy Hunt, was no match for him, as Johnson emerged victorious. Often referred to as the “English Trump,” Boris Johnson has outlined his plans to reduce taxes and increase investments, promising a transformative approach to governing.
